Leaders

The management of the Group in undertaken by a team of Warranted (Uniformed) Leaders, assisted by Section Assistants, Parent Helpers, Occasional Helpers and supported by an Executive Committee.

Everyone involved in running the Group is a Volunteer and does not receive any payment for undertaking their work with the Group. All Leaders and Committee Members undergo strict DBS checks as well as differing levels of training depending on their role.

The Executive Committee (Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary) has an important role in supporting the activities of the Sections and ensuring that our resources are safeguarded and maintained, adhering to The Scout Associations Policies, Organisation and Rules at all times.

Parent Representatives are always welcome at our Committee Meetings (once a term). If you are interested in helping out please speak to Akela. We have different roles available depending on the time commitment you can give.
